We provide facilities in Gloucester for rowing, canoeing and other paddle sports. Our users include Gloucester Rowing Club and Gloucester Canoe Club who are open to all interested in their sports, Just Row Gloucestershire who provide rowing opportunities for the disabled and disadvantaged and Skylark Adventures who offer outward bound activities including canoeing for children having difficulties in the normal school environment.

Gloucester Boathouse

Our project has delivered a working boathouse and associated indoor facilities; in early 2023 we completed fitting out the 2nd floor as a gym. Our attention is now turning to designing and fundraising for a permanent canoe store and the fit out of the 1st floor of our main building. The 1st floor fit out will be done in stages but eventually there will be meeting rooms, additional accessible toilets, showers and changing room, kitchen, lounge area, multi-purpose hall, balcony and a replacement for the temporary fire escape.

We have raised £100K towards the next stage of our development and seek another £25K to enable completion of the first stage of the 1st floor fit out. Please help us if you can.
