We wanted to use this page to share what Friends of St Paul’s School (FOSP) is all about, and to ask for your help to keep enriching our kids school experience.
FOSP is your school’s parent and community fundraising group. We’re a small team of volunteers — parents and carers, just like you — and our whole purpose is to help support the school community and raise money that goes directly back into enriching the experience of all the children at school.
What we fund
Last year, FOSP spent around £9,000 on behalf of your children. That paid for:
- Improvements to the playground and canopy
- A coach trip for every year group — school trips that some families couldn’t otherwise access
- Termly book vouchers for every class
- Extra support for each class during curriculum focus weeks
- Christmas treats
- Leavers’ hoodies for Year 6
None of this happens without fundraising — and none of the fundraising happens without this community.
How we raise money
We run school fairs, bake sales, coffee mornings, home clothes days and events like the one you’ve just supported throughout the year. Every cake baked, raffle ticket bought, and every hour volunteered makes a genuine difference. We’re so grateful to everyone who shows up.
Can you help bridge the gap?
This year, we are short of our fundraising needs. We’d love to do even more, but to maintain what we already provide, we need to close a funding shortfall. A voluntary contribution of £10 per child would cover this shortfall for the whole year.
If you’re able to contribute — whether that’s the full amount, something smaller, larger or a regular standing contribution — it would mean the world to us and directly benefit our school.
Get involved
If you’d like to get more involved — even just for a single event — we’d love to hear from you. You don’t need to commit to anything regular. S
