Many young LGBTQ+ young people experience bullying, discrimination, and rejection, leading to isolation and mental health challenges.
Free2B is a lifeline for these young people. We provide safe spaces, support groups, and 1:1 mentoring to help them thrive. We also challenge homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia through LGBTQ+ awareness training in schools and organisations.
And we’re making a real difference:
• 93% of young people who joined our groups did so to meet other LGBTQ+ people.
• 84% feel our groups are a safe space.
• 71% feel a sense of belonging.
• 100% of parents in our Proud Parents support group felt it was a safe space.
