SEND in the Dengie is a registered charity supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and their families across the Dengie and surrounding areas of Essex. We organise a range of inclusive activities, trips and social opportunities, giving children and young people the chance to make friends, build confidence, try new experiences and have fun in an environment where their individual needs are understood. We also bring families together, helping parents and carers connect with others who understand their experiences and reducing the isolation that many SEND families can face. Through fundraising and the support of our local community, we aim to keep our activities accessible and affordable, ensuring more children and young people have opportunities to take part.
