SEND in the Dengie is a registered charity supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and their families across the Dengie and surrounding areas of Essex. We organise a range of inclusive activities, trips and social opportunities, helping children and young people build friendships, develop confidence and enjoy new experiences in a supportive and understanding environment. We also bring families together, providing opportunities for parents and carers to connect, share experiences and feel less isolated. Our aim is to make activities and experiences more accessible to children and young people with SEND, while building a welcoming and supportive community for the whole family.
