The charity suggested by my wife Julia living with Multiple Sclerosis after Grant suggested doing the The Ben Nevis Ultra in September along with Elspeth and Sandy for a deserving and reputable local charity. This charity was started by a group of friends who are living with MS.

We entered Ben Salomon Nevis Ultra as it was a massive challenge 32 miles, 4,000m over a mixture of trails, moors, rivers , mountain ridges over four Munro’s from Kinlloch Leven. This international event features top runners from all over the world with demanding cut off times for all competitors. To be clear finishing is the objective here so we prepared a tough training plan to adhere to for any chance of completion which has called for some difficult decisions to be made. Sandy is 67yrs, Elspeth 53yrs and Grant 27yrs who has only been running for just over a year so all in all a very tall order! We will be wearing special made EMK Fitness race tops in recognition of Elspeth’s coaching skills and also like to thank family, friends and other coaches that have helped us!
