The Northampton and Lamport Railway CIO owns 3 BR Mk 1 passenger coaches. These are:
- Tourist Second Open (TSO) No.3919, built at Eastleigh Works in 1955.
- First Corridor (FK) No.M13324, built at Swindow Works in 1962.
- Brake Second Corridor (BSK) No.S34627
All three are currently under restoration and bringing them back into service is vital for the future of our growing railway.
The coaches will be restored in crimson and cream (aka 'blood and custard') livery.
Once complete they will give visitors to the railway the chance to experience genuine 1950s/60s rail travel in the UK.
Please donate today to make this project a reality.
Thank you
