Our foodbank is a project founded by local churches and community groups, working together towards stopping hunger in Alton and surrounding villages.

Alton Foodbank

Alton Foodbank believes that nobody in our community should have to face hunger alone.

Every donation helps us provide emergency food, practical support and access to specialist advice for local people experiencing difficult circumstances such as redundancy, illness, relationship breakdown, rising living costs or unexpected financial hardship.

Through our Foodbank-funded Citizens Advice worker, clients receive dedicated one-to-one support to increase income, access benefits, reduce bills and address financial challenges. In the last financial year alone, this service helped clients gain or save more than £102,000.

As we celebrate our 15th anniversary, we are focused not only on providing emergency support, but on helping people achieve greater independence and financial stability. Your support helps ensure that we can continue to be there for local people when they need us most.
