Please help us to make a real difference and to improve life chances for disadvantaged children in Nepal. Your donation will help to pay for :-

  • the salary of Manisha our health educator,.Part of her role is to run COVID awareness classes and to provide PPE and basic COVID related medical supplies
  • the salary of a primary school teacher at Kumbeshwar, set up to provide for children of  lower caste families. 
  • teacher training
  • sponsoring over 80 children to attend school, for these families this will be the first generation that has had any formal education
  • Improving school buildings and providing water and sanitation facilities
  •  a dental health camp for over 2000 children
  •  teacher and teaching assistants to run 8 After school projects which have made a huge difference to the progress of children in disadvantaged communities , school dropout rates have decreased and there has been a big improvement in exam results.

 We are helping children from disadvantaged communities in rural Nepal to realise their full potential.


THE TRUSTEES OF THE CHARITY DO NOT CLAIM EXPENSES, NOR DO WE EMPLOY ANYBODY, SO ALL THE MONEY WE COLLECT IS USED TO HELP PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR NEEDY CHILDREN IN NEPAL

We have :-

  • rebuilt a primary school following the devastating earthquake in 2015.
  • built a hostel so that female students can attend one of the few Agricultural Colleges in Nepal;
  • funded teacher training courses
  • provided and fund 8 After School Projects.
  • We help pay  teachers salaries at the primary school for disadvantaged children at Kumbeshwar.
  • We sponsor more than 80 children from the tea planters community to attend school in East Nepal, for these families this is the first generation to receive any formal education
  • We are involved with an ongoing Community project in remote Gangajamuna Municipality in collaboration with Huddersfield University and Nepali NGO Green Tara .
  • We fund the salary of a School and Community Health Promotion Officer, have trained teachers in more than 5 schools to deliver health education 
  • and we have enabled provision of clean water and sanitation for a large secondary school.
