All pages are exact replicas of Maria's hand written notes, accompanied with her beautifully hand drawn illustrations.

A real treat for the eyes with great detail and vibrant colours throughout, it takes you on a journey through the four seasons, with around 134 individually drawn elements, from plants and flowers, bugs, butterflies and bees, to a myriad of birds and larger animals such as a red fox and a wild Welsh pony. Most of which were observed in the local vicinity, proving you don't have to travel far to be at one with nature.

"Field Notes" interspersed within the book have been added to inspire anyone, young or old, to jot down notes or doodles of their own adventures. (Please note: dry mediums - such as biro, pencils or coloured pencils are recommended as not suitable for wet mediums such as watercolours or acrylics)
