Home-Start Epsom, Ewell and Banstead

Home‑Start Epsom, Ewell, Banstead and Mole Valley supports families with children aged 0–11 through trained volunteers who offer practical and emotional help at home. Our volunteers bring real parenting experience, strengthened by comprehensive training and guidance from our Family Coordinators. Alongside home‑visiting, we provide outings, groups and events that reduce isolation, build confidence and give children positive early experiences. Demand is rising, especially around parental mental health, so we’re expanding our services, increasing coordinator and volunteer hours, and providing Mental Health Awareness training. We also run Parenting Puzzle workshops to help parents build confidence and connect with others. Our perinatal support offers help from pregnancy through the first year, including free 1:1 sessions through The Nest, weekly drop‑ins, and referral‑based Nurture Groups focused on emotional wellbeing and parent–infant bonding.
