Event - The restoration of Raybel and the challenges of operating historic vessels

We’re thrilled to welcome Gareth Maeer, newly appointed Chair of the Maritime Heritage Trust and founding Director of Raybel Charters CIC. Gareth will talk about the Thames sailing barge Raybel which was restored on Milton Creek, Sittingbourne, between 2021-2025, just yards from where she was first launched in 1920.

Doors open at 7pm with a 7.30pm start at the Purifier Building. Refreshments provided for a suggested donation. Please note: you will be unable to park at the Home Bargains carpark without incurring a parking fine. You can park in Flood Lane or Brent Road.
