Event - Changing seascape: the impacts and implications of rising sea levels

We’re delighted to welcome Matthew Hatchwell who will talk about the implications for Faversham of rising sea levels and coastal flooding. Matthew will share his findings on rising sea levels globally and locally and look at the projected extent of flood risk in and around Faversham for 2100. He will also outline the Environmental Agency’s plan to raise flood defences along Faversham Creek.

Doors open at 7pm with a 7.30pm start at the Purifier Building. Refreshments provided for a suggested donation. Please note: you will be unable to park at the Home Bargains carpark without incurring a parking fine. You can park in Flood Lane or Brent Road.
