“SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity is a trusted source of support for serving personnel, veterans and their families in their time of need. Last year our trained teams of volunteers and employees helped more than 59,000 people, including veterans, serving personnel (regulars and reserves) and their families.

When anyone in our Armed Forces family finds themselves in need, SSAFA is the charity they can turn to. Support is there for people at any stage in their military career: from the youngest recruit to the oldest veteran – no one’s service is ever forgotten.

We provide trusted and personalised support that is focused on the individual’s needs with. Whether it’s financial, practical or emotional, SSAFA provide the right welfare and wellbeing support.

Formula 1 signed McLaren Caps

The McLaren F1 team has kindly gifted two 2024 Season, New Era 9FIFTY Caps to support our local SSAFA fundraising in Lincolnshire. The Caps each been signed, one by Lando Norris who has come so close to winning this year’s F1 championship and the other by his teammate Oscar Piastri.

This raffle is intended to raise funds to help us continue to provide life changing support for our Forces, their families and veterans in Lincolnshire in many ways such as:

• comfort to bereaved families.

• It could help elderly veterans stay mobile by assisting with funds for home adaptations and mobility scooters.

• By raising funds for SSAFA you have extended a helping hand to our young servicemen and women wounded in recent conflicts, and their families too.

• Your money could assist war widows facing financial hardship or those struggling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and so much more.

• This year, in light of the Cost-of-Living crisis, your support could also help to ensure the continued provision of frontline services that help support those who are affected.”
