Get ready for one of Hertfordshire’s favourite summer traditions… the SPACE Hertfordshire Duck Race is back for its 39th year!

On Saturday 11th July, hundreds of bright yellow rubber ducks will take to the water at Ware Lock in a fast-paced, family-friendly race to the finish line. Expect plenty of cheering, laughter, and a fantastic community atmosphere as the ducks bob their way downstream in support of local neurodivergent children, young people and their families.

And the fun doesn’t stop there - our much-loved Duck Race Raffle is back too, with some brilliant prizes up for grabs.

By purchasing a raffle ticket, you’ll sponsor a duck in the race and be in with a chance of winning:

1st Prize: £200

2nd Prize: £100

3rd Prize: £50

Raffle tickets are £2 each, or you can really go quackers and buy a book of 5 for £10.

Tickets will be available online and on the day, so gather your family and friends, pick your lucky duck, and join us for an afternoon of summer fun by the river.
