We started beekeeping a few years ago, as a natural step on from our love of gardening, wildlife, ecology and of all things needed to sustain and reinvigorate our native species. We were particularly frustrated with no success artificially pollinating our greenhouse peaches & apricots. A hive was bought and next season we had an amazing crop. We have not looked back.

We now have hives not only around our base in South Cheshire, but helping to pollinate crops on farms and bringing bees back to gardens and meadows in North Staffordshire and North Shropshire.

We also enjoy the challenge of helping new beekeepers set up, whether they just want to adopt a hive, or get involved in its upkeep.

In our Original Slime workshop, kids choose from a wide range of colours, mix-ins, scents, and add shaving foam for fluffy slime. Our Glow Slime workshop adds glow powder, mix-ins, and scents, with four colours to choose from (no shaving foam included).

Each session kicks off with a gooey Slime Science Show, where we explore the wonders of slime, share weird and slimy facts, and get hands-on with the world’s weirdest slimes.

For the grand finale, kids collaborate to make a GIANT slime, creating an unforgettable experience. Each child leaves with two pots of slime to take home!

About Scruffy Mutts

Back in 2012 we started our dog walking, doggy daycare and home boarding business. After working with dogs for 9 years and dealing with many customers whose pooches had allergies to wheat and grain we started researching natural treats and their nutritional advantages for our four legged friends.

So in 2021 we opened Scruffy Mutts Snack Shack and from there we have grown and gained many new furry friends (and their humans).

As you will see in our shop we DON’T and never will sell raw hide we only stock 100% natural treats with nothing added therefore only giving your dogs the best snack available.

We cater for various dietary needs and if there is something you’d like us to stock that isn’t already in our shop please just drop us a message and we’ll try and sort that for you.
