About

Greener and Cleaner is celebrating a greener Christmas with the return of our Greener and Cleaner Christmas Fair on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd November in The Hub (find us in The Glades shopping centre opposite The Entertainer). We know that not everyone will be able to attend, so we are giving you ANOTHER opportunity to support us with our GREENER AND CLEANER EPIC CHRISTMAS RAFFLE!

We are very grateful for the support of local and national businesses and local community members, who have donated all of these prizes. With your help, and the help of all who buy tickets here, we are raising key funds for running our wonderful Community Hub.

At our Community Hub local people come together to share life and craft skills, advice, equipment, a listening ear and collaborate on community projects. The Community Hub enables us all to support each other to cut costs and loneliness, share and inspire creativity, improve local mental health and community building - all while living and working a bit more sustainably: creating friendlier and healthier communities now and a brighter more resilient outlook for the future. More on our website https://www.greenerandcleaner.co.uk/

If you have a prize that you could donate next time, please email info@greenerandcleaner.co.uk. Thanks for your support!

Greener and Cleaner

Greener & Cleaner is a ground-breaking and award winning charity powered by a passionate and ambitious team of changemakers determined to leave the world in a better place for future generations. From our inclusive Community Hub based in a large, mainstream shopping centre, we pilot a way of maximising empty shop units to build community, while day to day we enable local people access themselves and also equip each other (and their wider community) with key life and craft skills, knowledge, resources and inspiration to help us all waste less, spend less, connect with and boost local wildlife and green spaces, and improve local wellbeing.

We celebrate and galvanise the rich local skills and knowledge of all generations, cultures, needs and backgrounds to boost community connection and empathy, skills and confidence, financial health and employability, health and wellbeing, and our local environment. All delivered from our popular x5 day a week Community Hub AND out in the community eg various regular Repair Cafes and Community Allotment / Garden Days, School Assemblies, Community Group Talks, Energy Advice Stalls & more!
