It is quite unusual for us to deal with cases like this one – however – Crackers’ owner, quite understandably, did not want to sell him due to the risk of an uncertain future for him.
It was lucky that we were able to help at that time and Cracker is blessed with many happy days ahead.
We are happy to report that Cracker successfully found his perfect match in Marilyn. She absolutely adores him and he whinnies excitedly when she arrives – so the feeling is mutual. Marilyn has some health issues which means that it is easier for her to manage Cracker if he remains living with us – this is a win, win situation because Marilyn is also a keen volunteer and helps us whenever she can.
