They stood up for justice. Now help us keep them safe.

Many years ago, a woman showed extraordinary courage. She stood up for the truth in one of the UK's most significant murder cases.

Her bravery helped secure justice for a young mother whose life was brutally taken. Her actions have since helped protect others through awareness, training and safeguarding work.

But courage can come at a lifelong personal cost.

Following recent developments connected to this case, there are serious concerns about the safety and wellbeing of the family who helped bring justice.

For their protection, we will not share names, personal details or specific security arrangements.

We are raising funds to help put safety and security measures in place, so this family can feel protected during a difficult and uncertain time.

Your donation will help fund practical steps to keep them safe and give them reassurance as they face this new chapter.

Those who stand up against abuse should never have to stand alone.

We also welcome discreet support from trusted security companies who may be able to offer advice, equipment or installation as goodwill. Discussions will be handled confidentially.
