Rohit National 3 Peaks July 2026

Story

I am proud to be taking part in the National 3 Peaks challenge with Desi Ramblers on 10th to 12th July 2026. The challenge will push me to my extreme ... climbing Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scafell Pike (England), and Yr Wyddfa (Mt Snowdon, Wales) one after the other, and attempting it within 24 hours. There are many people climbing mountains all over the UK, and watching over each one of us are the Mountain Rescue volunteer teams, ready to spring i to action, and our fundraising effort will help to support them in their vital work.

I have set a target of £100.52, which represents the 10,052 feet of ascent over the 3 mountains, but please feel free to donate whatever amount you are able to.

The Desi Ramblers are taking on the legendary National Three Peaks Challenge — climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England, and Wales in one non-stop, 24-hour endurance test. We aren't just doing this for the thrill, we are raising vital, life-saving funds for Mountain Rescue of England and Wales and Scottish Mountain Rescue.

🥾 100% Self-Funded: Every penny goes to Charity

We believe in this cause so deeply that 100% of our trip expenses are entirely self-funded by the participants. We have paid for our own fuel, transport, and kit. Additionally, an incredible volunteer army of 7 mountain leaders, 8 dedicated drivers, and 3 cooks are donating their time to keep us safe and fed.  There is zero overhead - every pound you donate goes straight to Mountain Rescue.

  • 3 Giants: Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scafell Pike (England), and Yr Wyddfa / Snowdon (Wales).
  • 40+ Walkers & 7 guides: A massive team effort pushing through exhaustion, together.
  • 4 Minibuses & 11 Crew: A moving logistical machine fighting tight deadlines, traffic, and darkness.
  • 10,052 Ft of Climbing, 23 Miles of Trekking & 462 Miles of Driving: All packed into 24 high-pressure hours. 

🚨 Why We Are Supporting Mountain Rescue

Mountain Rescue teams are entirely powered by volunteers. They are on call 24/7, 365 days a year, stepping out into treacherous weather, freezing temperatures, and pitch-black nights to rescue injured, lost, or stranded walkers.  As we push our bodies to the absolute limit across the UK's three toughest peaks, we want to we want to ensure these heroic teams have the equipment, training, and resources they need.
