I'm delighted and honoured to confirm that I have been selected to represent Great Britain Deaf Padel in the 2026 European Deaf Padel Championship. https://www.ecdeafpadel26.be/. This will be held in Brussels, Belgium this May 11th to 17th 2026. This will be in team format so there will be six players per match. There will be eight of us going to represent GB.
This is an exciting and historic opportunity for GB Deaf Padel Team, as we look to compete against other strong countries. We are all proud to represent GB and the deaf community on an international stage.
Unfortunately, this opportunity is completely full self-funded. This mean we must cover all our own costs, this include travel, accommodation, tournament entry fees, and team kit. In order for us to compete - we aim to raise £8,000 for the whole team - this is equivalent of £1,000 per player.
I am here to try to raise £1,000 to help cover my costs for the trip, and if my fundraising manage to go over £1,000 - the additional funds will support the rest of the players.
Your support (big or small) will help deaf athletes achieve their dream of representing Great Britain on international stage. Our profile will help to increase the Deaf Padel in UK. It will help to inspire more deaf players to get involved in sports and show what our community can achieve on the international stage.
