2020 cancelled, in for 2021, UPDATES below.

Hi All,

:-) I'm Chris to most, or Mr Prickett to some, and I'm planning to do the Great North Run for a charity called TOFS. Have a click below for what they do, with NO help from any government funding. It's pretty awesome really...

Awesome features quite a lot in my life, and not least the reason I'm here running. It's great to think of oneself as inspiring others (teaching...) but it is truly wonderful to be inspired by those around you. Hurdles to overcome, never giving in, getting up and carrying on as normal just when you thought it wasn't possible. That's the why I'm here, supporting the charity that has supported our family and so many others over the years.

She's a "grown -up" now, so I'm going to leave it there, thank you for reading this, and maybe think about supporting them, as they support so many.

UPDATE June 2020: The run in 2020 has been cancelled, but the good news is I'm in for it in 2021. More training time means an even faster target time - shall I propose aiming for a sub 1:30 half? Taking 15 minutes off my teenage time will be good...

£503.75 raised of £1,000.00 target by 16 supporters

£415.00 donated and £88.75 in GiftAid

Target

Supporting

TOFS from TOFS

TOFS offers support to people born with Tracheo-Oesophageal Fistula (TOF) and/or Oesophageal Atresia (OA). These are rare congenital malformaltions of the gullet and windpipe. Immediate neonatal surgery is a treatment, not a complete cure. We are UK-based and receive no public-sector support at all.
