La Bohème Chic Jewellery raising funds for The Pink Place

I wish to share a personal journey that has deeply shaped who I am and the mission of La Bohème Chic Jewellery.

In 2023, I was diagnosed Stage 1 breast cancer. While I am incredibly grateful to be healthy today, my path to recovery did not end with my final treatment.

I am still accessing vital physiotherapy and post-cancer rehabilitation services provided by The Pink Place, a remarkable local charity based in Basingstoke. My experience has shown me that while our healthcare system is lifesaving, there is a "support gap" when it comes to the long-term, holistic care that women need to truly reclaim their lives.

Because this community and this charity have been my backbone, I want to give back. La Bohème Chic is launching a fundraising initiative to help ensure these essential services remain accessible to every woman in our area navigating life after a cancer diagnosis.

From now on, 1% of every purchase will go directly to The Pink Place. This will be added to the donations made by our clients and by anyone who would like to contribute through our fundraising page or in our shop.

Thank you for being part of my journey and for helping us support the women in our community who need it most.

The Pink Place is a registered charity which provides FREE wellbeing services, complementary therapies, counselling, Mindfulness classes, yoga therapy and Peer Group support to women affected by any type of cancer. Based in Basingstoke, our range of services are available to women in North Hampshire and the surrounding areas.
