I'm Alan Jones and on the night of 20th/21st June I'll be joining the first Human Rights Night walk to raise funds for the Museum of Homelessness.
The event promises to be one for the history books. About 50 people will walk 12 miles through the night, taking in places and spaces in London that relate to the rich human rights related histories layered through London’s streets.
From the black dog of Newgate to the Gay Liberation Front, we’ll be honouring Human Rights Giants and following in the footsteps of those who have risen up through the centuries.
We start off at 10.30pm in Brixton and finish with a big breakfast at the Museum in Finsbury Park.
The aim is to raise £10,000 so, if you can, please donate to help us reach this target.
