Calling all cat lovers 😺 

We asked Help Animals UK members to nominate some exceptional cat rescues to feature on our 2025 fundraiser where we want to raise £1000 for Cat welfare 

If you would like to help them continue to do amazing work to help animals, please consider making a donation.

Pussycat Lodge

Welcome to Pussycat Lodge!

Pussycat Lodge (PCL) was established 25 years ago and has been a focal point for a group of hard working and dedicated volunteers who rescue and care for cats in the Basildon, Dagenham, Redbridge and Havering and Brentwood areas in Essex.
​
Several purpose built pens cater for the many needy cats and kittens passing through our doors. Outside is a specially built feral house for the semi-wild cats who can't quite face coming indoors.
​
It costs over £4000 a month to keep Pussycat Lodge running. We rely purely on donations and money raised from our fundraising events. We simply couldn't survive without the generosity of those who donate and support us.

Feline Friends Rescue North Hykeham Lincoln

We are a shelter setting cat rescue established in 2014. Feline Friends is located in North Hykeham Lincoln however serves not only it's local cat community but is happy to cover Lincolnshire as well as out of county as and when space is available. 

The rescue takes in strays, pregnant females, hoarding situations, kittens and will also take in cats where their owners need to rehome them.

Meow and Furever

"Meow and Furever is a Nottingham based Cat Rescue setup in memory of Holly. 


Our mission is to work with other Rescues across our region and form a supportive and informative Rescue Service.


At Meow and Furever we have a dedicated team of Fosterers, who all care for our cats in the warmth of their own homes until a furever adoption home can be found.


Whilst cats remain in our care we provide them with all of the love, support, health care and warmth they require. 

Although newly established in 2023, we have over 27 years of rescue experience and it's with this that we hope to be a beacon of hope for those in need. "
