Fundraiser - Running the Manchester Marathon for Ayrshire Baby Loss

Story

Hi my name is Kelly, I work as a midwife at Ayrshire Maternity unit. Myself and a few other members of the Killy Striders’s are running the Manchester marathon on the 19th of April 2026.

We have decided to fundraiser for Ayrshire Baby Loss. Ayrshire baby loss is a local charity who supports bereaved families who have been affected by the loss of a baby at any stage.

Given that I work within labour ward at the maternity unit I’ve seen the amazing support this charity has provided to families who sadly experience a baby loss.

Ayrshire Baby Loss Support

We offer support to anyone affected by the loss of a baby at any stage. Support is offered through support meetings held monthly, telephone, messaging and email support. We also have a number of memorial trees that plaques may be placed on.
