Fundraiser - CHRISTMAS KINDNESS

Story

We rarely ask our hard working supporters to part with cash rather than exchange deeds of kindness. However, we always offer free concessions to our events for people who have suffered great suffering, loss and trauma so they can have an uplifting experience and be reminded that people truly care and they are not alone.

This year we offer the magical Take a Chance on Us, Abba tribute and glitter after party on Saturday 14th December. Already we are engulfed with the most difficult to read, dignified and humble stories revealing how people are truly struggling in a life that should never be so hard or unfair. We take our hat off to their strength and pride and are more compelled than any year before to cover the costs so we can get EVERY SINGLE ONE of them to enjoy this magical evening of friendship completely FREE of charge.

We exist to take practical action to prevent and reduce mental and emotional distress that leads to poor wellbeing, particularly amongst vulnerable groups such as women, children, veterans and people who live with challenges such as poverty, physical ill-health, violence and abuse, isolation and loneliness and those who experience depression and suicidal inclination.
