Ed Bartholomew, Lead Curator at York’s National Railway Museum, will talk to us about some of his favourites from the collection of over 10,000 railway posters held by the NRM. Afterwards there will be tea and cookies.

Ed Bartholomew’s particular interests include the visual representation of railways in photography, art and posters, their impact on the landscape, and their development and promotion through railway publicity and marketing. His role at the NRM involves the curation of the collections, ranging from archives to objects, and work on the museum’s collaborative research programme, including the supervision of doctoral students.

From the 11th October 2022 at 02:00 PM.
