About

Farmers around Nablus are losing land to illegal settlements. Planting trees not only provides them with an income but can also help to maintain their rights to their homelands.

FONSA has planted over 6,000 olive trees in recent years. These have been welcomed by the farmers who tend and nurture them. Unfortuately, several have been attacked by illegal settlers but we continue to plant and to re-plant.

Friends of Nablus and Surrounding Areas

FONSA is a charitable trust established in 2007. We support Palestinians in and around Nablus. Using local advice, we focus on issues and needs raised with us. Our current priority is to pay tuition fees for student nurses and midwives whose families cannot afford them. We plant olive trees in villages which are under threat from settler land grabs. Other projects are considered according to requirements and resources.
