Home-Start Central Lancashire supports families early before problems escalate into crisis.

Working across West Lancashire, Chorley, South Ribble and Greater Preston, we provide trauma-informed, home-based support to families with children under eleven who are facing difficult or overwhelming circumstances.

Through trained volunteers and specialist guidance, we help parents cope, children thrive, and families stay together at a time when support can make the biggest difference.

Because childhood doesn’t pause for crisis to arrive.

And early intervention saves lives and futures.

We are a local charity supporting families across West Lancashire, Chorley, South Ribble and Greater Preston.

We work in a different way to statutory and many other services. Families choose to work with us and invite us into their homes and lives. We are an independent; non-judgmental; local community network of expert support and trained volunteers helping families with young children in their own homes and communities through their challenging times.

We are there for parents and children when they need us the most to support them through the struggles they are experiencing, so they can recognise their strengths and build on them.
